desert wedding ceremony

have a question?

here are some of our frequently asked ones…

What kind of weddings + events do you specialize in?

Whether you’re planning an intimate affair at a private mid century home, a small wedding under the stars, or a non-traditional celebration in the desert, I create custom floral designs that reflect your unique style and personality. My fave clients are those who want their event to feel like an authentic expression of who they are. I steer clear of cookie-cutter designs and love crafting bold, unique arrangements that fit the mood and setting.

Do I need to know anything about flowers? Can you work with my unique vision or theme?

Whether you have a detailed vision doc and massive Pinterest board, or just a few vague ideas and colors in mind, I’ll collaborate with you to bring your vision to life. Your knowledge of flowers (or lack thereof!) will not affect my level of service. I thrive on creativity and love a floral challenge! My goal is always to design florals that feel personal, unexpected, and aligned with your story, no matter our starting point.

Can you recommend other event/wedding vendors in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley?

I sure can! We’re a fairly small, tight-knit vendor community here, so I have a list of wonderful and talented planners, photographers, caterers, hair and makeup artists… even other florists, whom I’m more than happy to point you toward. Just ask! You can also see some tagged from previous events on my Journal page.

Do you offer sustainable or eco-friendly floral options?

Absolutely! Climate change is real, folks, and the floral industry, like so many others, is part of the problem—mostly through the reliance on fossil fuels to import & export flowers around the world, and the use of single-use plastics, pesticides, herbicides, and other toxic chemicals. In case you didn’t know, that green stuff you’ve seen used in floral arrangements for decades (Oasis Floral Foam) is highly toxic, made from petrochemicals. Despite the public knowledge of this, and the availability of several safer alternatives, most florists still use it. My floral designs, however, will never be made with Oasis foam. I use several safer alternatives, including AgraWool, OshunPouches, chicken wire, kaizen (pin frogs), and moss. I reuse, recycle, and compost as much as possible, and source local blooms whenever practical (not an easy thing to do from the desert!). But there is much more room for growth, and I am always seeking out new and better tools and practices.
